So here in lovely North Texas we're having our annual "OHMYGOD SLEET RAIN SNOW!" event (Ooooh, it's 22 DEGREES! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIEEE!), so I'm stuck at home and I'm bored out of my ass. So to distract myself from sticking things in my eyeballs, here's a fun stupid way of passing time!

7 YEARS AGO

-How old were you? 19. I don't remember much about being 19, it's kinda weird.

-What grade were you in? Freshman in college.

-Where did you go to school?
Southern Methodist University. That was my first year and definitely my last year.

-What was your style?
Whatever fit, usually jeans and an ill-fitting t-shirt. I was at my chunkiest between the years of 19 and 22. Not a pretty time.

-Where did you work?
Around this time I worked at Express for about a month before I quit. It was not my scene. I delivered pizza for a month or do later in the year.

-Where did you live?
In a dorm at SMU. I had a roommate my first semester, but she moved out and then I had it all to myself.

-How was your hair style?
Longish and stringy, not brushed very often because I was going through a stage of just not giving a shit.

-Did you wear braces?
Got those off when I was 17.

-Did you wear contacts?
Didn't need them.

-Did you wear glasses?
I think that was the year I thought I needed glasses and got some as merely a fashion accessory. Such a fun time in my life.

-Who was your best friend?
Matt. Actually, he was pretty much my only friend, although my friendship with Scott started up again that year.

-Who was your boyfriend/girlfriend?
Matt. We had been together a little over a year by this point.

- Who was your favorite celebrity?
Hmm...I don't remember. Probably someone on Young and The Restless or something, since that's what I was into at the time. Still Axl, of course.

-What was your favorite TV show?
Young and the Restless! I can't remember anything else I watched. I was too busy looking at porn and playing Jeopardy on my computer.

-Who was your regular-person crush?
A friend of my roommate's...I don't remember his name, but he was hot. Also, a guy I met on IRC, but it was all strange because he, like...died before I got to meet him!

-How many piercings did you have?
Just the ears.

-How many tattoos did you have?
No tattoos! I will get one eventually, really.

-What was your favorite band?
GN'R, of course. I don't think music was a big priority for me at that point.

-What was your biggest fear?
Matt dumping me, Matt losing interest in me, Matt moving on with his life...anything that had to do with Matt.

-Had you smoked a cigarette yet?
I still haven't, yo.

-Had you gotten drunk or high yet?
Yeah, drunk. I got high for the first and only time ever that year, and it sucked, and I've never done it again. All I wanted to do was eat hot dogs from 7-11.

-Had you driven yet?
Oh, yeah. Me and Matt were going on crazy road trips together, too.

-If so what car(s)?
I still had my pretty green Jetta at that point.

-Where was your all time hang out spot?
My dorm room. I really hated SMU and that's the only place I really wanted to be.

Wow, 7 years ago really kinda sucked! I'm glad I'm not 19 anymore.

1) Was 2005 a good year for you?
Yes, it really and truly was. Especially in comparison to years past.

2) What was your favorite moment of the year?.
Getting the job!

3) What was your least favorite moment of the year?
Learning that, after 7.5 years, a good friend/ex-boyfriend was "no longer allowed to talk to me" because his new girlfriend didn't want him to, although that actually turned into one of the best things that's ever happened to me. It just didn't feel so wonderful at the time.

4) Where were you when 2005 began?
With my bestest friend at her husband's family's house.

5) Who were you with?
Ali-Kat and hubby.

6) Where will you be when 2005 ends?
Don't know yet. It shall be a surprise!

Don't know.

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2005?
The only one I didn't keep was writing a novel, but hey, there's always next year.

9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2006?
Not exactly a resolution, but more like a promise to myself.

10) Did you fall in love in 2005?
I thought I might have, and I really really wanted to, but I think I'll go with no on this.

11) If yes, with who?
Your mom.

I don't know, ask her.

13) Are you still in love with them?
Yeah, your mom rocks.

14) You regret it?
I regret the act of wanting to fall in love so badly that I ran everyone off. But hey, I haven't dated since I was a teenager, I'm allowed to fuck up at first, right?

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2005?
I had relationships that ended, but I wouldn't exactly call that "breaking up."

16) Did you make any new friends in 2005?
Yes, my lovely gay soulmate. Muah to you!

17) Who are your favorite new friends?
See above!

18) What was your favorite month of 2005?
January, just because so much happened all at once.

19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2005?
No, not much traveling this year.

20) How many different states did you travel to in 2005?
Urmm..Nevada, Louisiana, Utah. 3!

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2005?
Relationships ended and I lost people that I didn't want to lose, but ultimately my life is better without these people in it.

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year?
Boys. Of course, boys. But it was a superficial kind of missing, and thus doesn't really count.

23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2005?
Crash! 100% Crash. I love that friggin movie.

24) What was your favorite song from 2005?
Unfortunately, anything by Kelly Clarkson. Also, "Best of You" by Foo Fighters.

25) What was your favorite record from 2005?
I don't really have a favorite album, just favorite singles.

28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2005?
Not more than usual, but I did have my share.

29) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2005?
None...just a lot of motrin. Well, if you count Meridia as a drug, than it's a friggin' miracle drug and if that's wrong I don't want to be right.

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2005?
Um, more than 2004, let's just say that.

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Yeah, I put total faith in too many boys, which I have learned is really just a pointless thing to do. In 2006, it's all about me, baby! Yeeyuh.

33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2005?
Uh, does the word "Arizona" mean anything to you?

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2005?
Not knowingly.

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2005?
Only because I let them.

36) How much money did you spend in 2005?
As much as I made!

37) What was your proudest moment of 2005?
Getting the job. After spending 2 years of not being able to find a job to save my life, getting the job I wanted the most was such a relief and a very proud moment.

38) Most embarrassing moment of 2005?
Nothing comes to mind. It probably has something to do with boys, though, and being completely boy crazy.

39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2005 and change something, what would it be?
I would have gone back to January and whispered in my ear that boys will only disappoint me this year, and have some faith in myself and not look for it in anybody else, because I won't find it.

40) What are your plans for 2006?
To not be so fucking boy crazy and start finding some inner peace.

In other news, today at work M got to caption the video for Welcome to the Jungle and someone else got to caption Fall to Pieces (by Velvet Revolver) for a show on the Fuse network. We've been doing a shitload of shows for them and it sucks because I don't have it on my cable programming thing. It's a really cool station, actually, and you all need to check it out for good time fun.

I also wrote an email to one of my bosses that said, "Is it okay to say 'Can we get some titty up in this bitch' on the Fuse Network?" I know you're jealous of my job.
